What if you, instead of transferring bitcoins in an exchange, you exchanged private keys? Could this be done? And wouldn’t that make it harder to peg an identity to an address?
For example: Party ‘A’ would send 1 btc to an address x, generated by software, and party ‘B’ would send 1 btc to an address z also generated by software. When both transactions has been verified the software will transmit the private key for address z to A and x to B.
