“Smart Contracts main features are self-execution and no need of trusted third party. However, the key issue is that a casual person cannot read the code and understand what the contract states (either it is an ICO investment contract, loan, or gambling). That’s where I see lawyers could come into play. Understanding the law and smart contract code could lead to greater insights for the customer. What is the Blockchain?
A block chain is a transaction database shared by all nodes participating in a system based on the Bitcoin protocol. A full copy of a currency’s block chain contains every transaction ever executed in the currency. With this information, one can find out how much value belonged to each address at any point in history.
