Blockchain : New to Blockchain and BTC. Need help about money disappearing in my wallet.
So Im new to all this. I had $2000 sent to my blockchain wallet today (using mobile app this whole time). I went to transfer the btc to my coinbase to withdraw into my bank account. When sending it I noticed I only had $1971 available to send. My first thought was maybe that was the fee (full $2000 was sent to my wallet) closed the app to check fees just to reopen it see $1961 was available (about 2 minutes later). Didn’t know what was going on so I closes the app and reopened it to see $1950 available in account. I panicked and immediately sent it to my coinbase. My transaction fee was $1.19 but Im missing essentially $50. The btc was deposited the same day I was doing this.
Did I mess up here, or what I can do to make sure this doesn’t happen again. Is there anything I can do now about the missing money? Any help would be much appreciated as I have no idea what Im doing.
What is the Blockchain?
A block chain is a transaction database shared by all nodes participating in a system based on the Bitcoin protocol. A full copy of a currency’s block chain contains every transaction ever executed in the currency. With this information, one can find out how much value belonged to each address at any point in history.
