Ethereum update: Any of you fine folks running your rig/s off a “Smart Outlet”?

Lately I’ve been having some issues with my 6 RX580 rig going offline, but staying on. I’ve witnessed this occur and everything seems fine, but the fans aren’t going as fast as when it’s actually mining. I need to do a hard shutdown and restart in order to get it back online.

I haven’t been able to figure out why this happens, so in the interim I was considering doing a “smart outlet” that I can remotely turn off and back on so my rig can reboot.

The rig is at my work and all the outlets are 20a. Here are some that I’ve looked into:

* [Option 1](https://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Standard-Fixtures-Function-Compatible/dp/B074C63TQ3)
* [Option 2](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0178IC5ZY/ref=emc_b_5_t)

What say you? Also let me know if you need rig specs.

*EDIT* – Ordered the TP Link Kasa HS110
