Ethereum update: Compute vs Gaming mode for RX580s (15Mh -> 27Mh)
Hi All,
I just opened up the radeon settings on my windows machine (with 2 RX580s) and changed the opearting mode from Gaming to Compute and got a 8MH boost on my GPUs. These were running ~15MH previously each (31MH total) and now combined output is 55MH.
My other mining rigs are Linux based and I’m curious if there is a similar switch to change from Gaming to Compute mode. Or at least, what is this switch and how do I improve my linux based mining rigs to have a similar performance gain?
