Ethereum update: igdrclneo64.dll error
Posting this in case anyone else runs into it. I’ve been mining with claymore miner for a while with multiple boxes and this is (I think) the third time I’ve run into this issue.
**Problem**: claymore miner starts, outputs this:
ETH: 1 pool is specified
Main Ethereum pool is us1.ethermine.org:5555
DCR: 0 pool is specified
Then, the miner abruptly crashes and the window vanishes.
**Investigation**: Open the Windows Event Viewer, then browse to Windows Logs > Application and look for a recent log entry with the level “Error”. I’ve found this exact error every time:
Faulting application name: EthDcrMiner64.exe, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x5b44b8e4

**Resolution**: Delete the file “igdrclneo64.dll” from the folder:
It would behoove you to copy the file somewhere else (your desktop) before you delete it, in case for whatever reason this doesn’t help you and you wish to restore the file later.
Happy mining everyone!
