Ethereum update: Noob in need of assistance picking gpu(s)
hi r/EtherMining! This is my first post so if I make any mistakes, feel free to correct me.
recently i’ve been reading/watching a lot about crypto mining and I find it very interesting and exciting which makes sense since I am studying computer science/programming and always had an interest in computers.
Anyways, I wanted to start mining myself as a hobby. I currently have an old PC I got from a friend and a gtx 1050 ti lying around, so I looked through deals on a local site for used hardware and did some research.
if you assume all cards work perfectly my options are:
2x RX 560’s 4GB or 2x R9 280X or 1x R9 390 8GB or 1x RX 580 4GB or 1x 1060 3GB
so what do you guys think? I appreciate all the help I can get.
Edit: dont need to pay for electricity, and all gpus/combos are 200$ and under
