Ethereum update: What are the most relevant determinants in cryptocurrency adoption?

**We are a research team** from the University Institute of Lisbon (ISCTE-IUL), in Portugal, and during the last weeks we’ve been collecting responses to our questionnaire but still need a few more to achieve our target.
**Some interesting pre-results** confirm what we expect, that people with different cryptocurrencies having different perceptions regarding what they value and geography also has a big impact on why people adopt cryptocurrencies. On the other hand, some determinants we initially thought were relevant, are not. **The detailed results** with infographics and the most important conclusions of the study **will be published by the end of October** (estimation).

Regarding the construction of **the questionnaire**, it **was based on Likert type scale** questions. We considered **10 different dimensions**, from perceived usefulness to privacy to profitability, among others. It has some focus on the financial area, but this does not mean it is the most important. We know there are some other dimensions not being addressed in this questionnaire, such as decentralisation/government influence, that may be addressed in the future.
**It takes on average 3 minutes** to answer. Your input is really important for this research and to help us and other researchers to boost academic knowledge in this area.
