Ripple update: Domestic Wire to BITTREX nearing 48 hours. Proves banking needs Ripplenet.

I signed up for BITTREX fiat trading. I was approved in 24 hours and sent my first $1000 in via domestic wire transfer sent from my bank. That was almost 48 hours ago (and it cost $25). I cant see it, I don’t know the status, and I don’t know if it’ll get kicked backed for some error.

If this is the best the old system/SWIFT can do for a small transaction between 2 US Companies to settle a transaction, how in the world do they think they are going to survive without upgrading to a block chain based system? If both my bank and Bittrex were linked via Ripplnet, I would have been trading 2 full days ago. And saved money

Btw I also sent XRP from my toast wallet to Bittrex wallet. 5 seconds. Less than a penny.

The future is obvious.
