Bitcoin : Am I alone in looking forward to a mining war?
That would make a good test of the Bitcoin protocol after all.
We could probably learn a lot from it.
Edit: I guess there is confusion on what I meant.
What I’m referring towards is the threats by miners to ~~double spend on~~ reorg competing chains. It would be a good test of the protocol. Even if the double spends are successful we can learn things about how much hash power it actually takes.
I guess after the big block test, this feels like another kind of test.
