Bitcoin : Should it not be possible to have merged mining between Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash?


Should it not be possible as they use the same algo? I understand it may not be possible when the last block where over the blocksize_limit at the Cash chain.. But should it not be possible to mine both chains at the same time?

So if you find a block you could use it to fit both chains with different transactions.. At least it should be possible to look for block for both chains at the same time.. ? Or not? Any thoughts? If so, may Cash only have “merged” mining? :p
