Bitcoin : Underrated aspect of BTC
Currently, BTC has huge momentum behind it, by virtue of being the majority fork and retaining the Bitcoin name. As long as BTC has the economic majority, it’s going to have a big advantage in that respect.
This will be overcome if BCH can begin to capture market segments where BTC fails: primarily around actual usage as money. Innovative tech succeeds not when it’s forced into a use case. Instead, watch where and how it is actually used, and let it blossom in those markets. We should be paying attention to and supporting the niche cases where crypto has really succeeded (e.g. online poker or offshore prediction markets).
I’m long both BTC and BCH. Acknowledging the strengths and weaknesses of the competitive position of both coins can help us build the best future.
