Bitcoin : Without attacking personalities, can anyone here give a good, technical explanation of the dangers of OP_MUL, OP_INVERT, LSHIFT or RSHIFT? If any?
They seem very benign to me, but I’m not a C++ coder or cryptographer, and there has been arguments from many on the ABC and BU sides that one or more of these op codes is dangerous to Bitcoin.
