Blockchain is obviously an unmature tech to be explored, but we’ve seen people from various backgrounds having been talking about its applications and possibilities frequently. Some industry insiders who do related jobs may earn money by acquring more knowledge but for the outsiders, why so many of them are also following such topics and what they can gain from it? PS: I’m also an outsider so far, but I regard it as a chance to enter a fast-growing industry for new job opportunity with higher salary. Really would like to know how you guys think about it.
What is the Blockchain?
A block chain is a transaction database shared by all nodes participating in a system based on the Bitcoin protocol. A full copy of a currency’s block chain contains every transaction ever executed in the currency. With this information, one can find out how much value belonged to each address at any point in history.
