Blockchain : Blockchain based online portal
Hi it might sound silly but I dont really understand how blockchain technology could be implemented. Hence I am posting this question here.

What I am trying to do is; create an online portal where people will register and save their information.
But instead of saving users information in a usual database what I want to do is; I want to store them in blockchain.

For example:
I register on a website and then I create a book and start writing the first page.
once the first page is finished click on save button. Now, this information should create a block and could be only opened by its author. So every time i add another page it should create a block and add to the blockchain.
my query is:
Where will this blockchain saved? in database? or its a raw file which user could download on their own computer?
How can I secure the whole book so that only author of that book could be able to read it?
I also want to know how the author of the book could read only desired page of the book?
Desired technology would be PHP+MySql
What is the Blockchain?
A block chain is a transaction database shared by all nodes participating in a system based on the Bitcoin protocol. A full copy of a currency’s block chain contains every transaction ever executed in the currency. With this information, one can find out how much value belonged to each address at any point in history.
