Blockchain : Can someone explain to a developer how a blockchain works ?
Hello folks, i truly do not understand what a blockchain is, all im seeing is hashes, gas limit, etc. It doesn’t make sense to me, i swear i have like 2-3 books on blockchain, and still don’t truly grasp the concepts of it.
Can someone help me understand, or point me in the right direction ?

What is the Blockchain?
A block chain is a transaction database shared by all nodes participating in a system based on the Bitcoin protocol. A full copy of a currency’s block chain contains every transaction ever executed in the currency. With this information, one can find out how much value belonged to each address at any point in history.
