Blockchain : I’m getting a MacBook for blockchain development. What to install?
Hi, my new job will be in blockchain development, and they’re giving me a mac. I’ve previously only used windows. I want to have a play with a mac before I join the company so I’m familiar with things. I’ve got a cheap macbook from a mate.
What browsers / IDEs / packages / plugins/ other software do you recommend I install, and in what order?
I’ll be writing in golang, rust, solidity, python, js.

What is the Blockchain?
A block chain is a transaction database shared by all nodes participating in a system based on the Bitcoin protocol. A full copy of a currency’s block chain contains every transaction ever executed in the currency. With this information, one can find out how much value belonged to each address at any point in history.
