Blockchain : LBRY’s YouTube Sync Program Rewards, Start Earning Today

Blockchain has bring along a whole new ways of innovation. Content creators face problems on social media as many struggle to profit. A lot of issues with censorship and suppressing their work from reaching higher audience. Posts and publishes are seen declining in visibility and engagement. There is a clear imbalance in the system and needs to be changed. Even taking a look at YouTube’s recent policies and demonetization.
This is why i have come to understand that LBRY’s approach for content freedom is set out to set all creators free.

LBRY is a FREE, OPEN and COMMUNITY-RUN digital market place. It is a decentralized platform built on the blockchain technology and set to solve the current problem of censorship and for creators to directly and always have their contents monetized.
LBRY Recently introduced LBRY Partner Program [Youtube Sync – Protect Your Videos](https://lbry.io/youtube?r=lbryc)
The aim is to make it easier for existing Youtubers to have their contents on the LBRY platform and get rewarded without having to start publishing their contents or videos all over again. As I can tell, LBRY is the only content sharing platform that rewards Youtubers for syncing their contents via their YouTube Partner Program. Others like DTube and Bittube only has the feature for importing YouTube videos and does not reward creators for doing so.
The sync program has been made very easy for any YouTuber that wants to have their contents on LBRY and get rewarded in LBC. All you simply need to do is;
*please make sure your subscriber count is public in order for the system to determine the number of subscribers you have to be able to claim your rewards*

* Enter your channel name and click claim. It’ll take you to google sign in page.

* Enter/click the email address for your YouTube channel, if it’s a brand account, make sure to enter the email that was used to create the channel.

* Click allow to authenticate your email in order to retrieve information like subscriber count and watch time
* After it’ll take you back to the YouTube Sync Page to confirm your preferences which is the channel name that will be in the LBRY app as well as the email you’ll use to claim your rewards/LBRY account. If all looks good, then check the box for *I want to sync my content to the LBRY network and agree to these terms* and Save changes.

The next thing you will see is the number of subscribers you have and the equivalent LBC/Rewards you’ll be getting.

You will also see sync status queued, which means that you are done and the LBRY team will proceed on bringing your YouTube videos to LBRY.
* Now that you are all set, you need to claim your reward and it will be the same amount shown under *Expected Rewards*
* And the last thing to do is [Download the LBRY App](https://lbry.io/get?r=Ibryc) and [follow these instructions](https://lbry.io/faq/youtube) to claim your rewards. You will also receive a *congrats email* from LBRY to confirm your queue for sync on LBRY!
That’s it, you have successfully synced your YouTube channel and now you have a backup on LBRY, just in case you loose your YouTube channel, you do not have to worry about your videos because they are safe now.
