Blockchain : Using Blockchain for restoring Kerala
You all might have heard about the devastating effects of recent floods in Kerala. Restoring the state will take a lot of time and effort. A lot of people might have lost most or all their official documents. Government has relaxed some rules for the residents for reclaiming their lost documents ([https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/thiruvananthapuram/kerala-floods-heres-how-you-can-reclaim-important-documents/articleshow/65414894.cms](https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/thiruvananthapuram/kerala-floods-heres-how-you-can-reclaim-important-documents/articleshow/65414894.cms)).
Since the state has to build itself from ground up, it can be seen as an opportunity to build it on a smart foundation. I am new to Blockchain and was wondering how can we incorporate the technology in the process described in the link above?
What is the Blockchain?
A block chain is a transaction database shared by all nodes participating in a system based on the Bitcoin protocol. A full copy of a currency’s block chain contains every transaction ever executed in the currency. With this information, one can find out how much value belonged to each address at any point in history.
