Hey guys! So I work for a project called Constellation Labs as their Content Manager, and I wrote this piece that I’m really proud of and felt like it’d be of interest to the greater community!
It’s essentially breaking down why existing blockchain projects aren’t fully utilizing proven distributed tech systems, and how we feel like it’s missing in the space as a whole. Also goes into detail on how Constellation is leveraging said tech in our overall framework.

What is the Blockchain?
A block chain is a transaction database shared by all nodes participating in a system based on the Bitcoin protocol. A full copy of a currency’s block chain contains every transaction ever executed in the currency. With this information, one can find out how much value belonged to each address at any point in history.
