CryptoCurrency : Is it possible to extract data from an Exchange to develop a script?

I’m looking to see how feasible it’s to extract data from high volumen exchanges (binance, Bithumb, etc) even from CMC through APIs and use it to create scripts that can set buy/sell orders.
