CryptoCurrency : Out of the game for a few months, looking at getting back in. Whats new?

I got sick of my portfolio dropping every week, so I decided not to look at it. Now it’s down around 70% since ATH, but almost level at what I have invested, I’m thinking of getting back in.

I have been investing monthly info bitcoin for around a year, the same amount, but I hardly read about the whole market anymore.

So my question is, what’s changed ? Anything exciting happening? Any new tech that looks promising I can do some research on?
