CryptoCurrency : Thoughts on margin options (short, long positions, etc) in crypto?

I’ve been curious about different strategies than just hodling my tokens and hoping for an uptick. For example with other assets and securities, you can hold short or long positions (aka derivatives) to better reflect what you think the market will do.

Any thoughts or experience with doing this in crypto?
