Ethereum update: 2gb mining possible?
Total noob here for mining, but my job gave me a new workstation with a 2gb dedicated gpu (AMD firepro wx 3100). Seeing as how I dont pay for the computer or the electricity, wanted to let it run and mine no matter how small the payout.
I’ve been reading that its impossible to mine with 2b since the DAG is too large, however, in the nanopool FAQ they state you can run on a 2gb vram system. https://eth.nanopool.org/faq
Is this true?
