Ethereum update: 8x 1080ti rig – 1 card performing poorly on ethash with ethenlargement on Hive OS

Hi folks,

Any advice please? I have 7 cards hashing at a stable 50-54mh/s, at 150-180w/card, -400 core and 1100-1400 memory (remember, hive os doubles memory, so this is actually 550-700 mem).

An 8th card with the same settings is at 38mh/s. Temperature at 54 degrees, so it’s not thermal throttling. Card works as fast if not quicker than the other cards on x16r / lyra2r2 / equihash, so don’t think it’s a problem with the card or riser.

I’ve tried varying power levels (140->200w) and played with oc settings (core -400 -> 200) and memory (500->1500) but it stubbornly sticks to a significantly lower hash rate than the other cards. What’s intriguing is that even if i bump power limit to 200w, I rarely see it sipping more than 130w.

Basically it seems the pill isn’t ‘taking’ on this card?

I’ve tried moving cards around and even just mining with this one card, but it just won’t play ball.

Any tips on stuff I could try?

Thanks!
