Ethereum update: AtiFlash Issue Possible ROM Size?

Hey everyone, I’ve been flashing bios’s for a bit now and recently have run into an issue

MSI Armor 580 8GB

I have a 2 rigs with 8x cards each all with a powersave rom from Anorak that does 225 mh/s at 1220w from the wall. I just bought a collection of assorted cards of the same type and of the 8 cards they seem to be a mix of 4 different types of bios but all together the cards do 235 mh/s at 1230 from the wall, so I have all 4 bios saved from atiflash and want to try them onto my other 2 8x card rigs but they wont flash giving me the error: 0FL01, but if I try another bios that I pulled off of one of my own cards it works fine.

Whats also weird is when I tried to open the 4 different bios in Polaris Bios Editor it opened and viewed fine, and then tried to “Save As” and then flash, to which I didn’t get an error but it “bricked” my card and had to re-flash to the bios file I pulled off the internet.

Why is it that Anorak seems to work on all cards? Does it have to do with the ROM size buffer I was reading about?

I thought since it worked for the bios I pulled off of one of my own that it should work off the new cards but maybe Anorak does something different?
All bios ROMs were pulled from the cards by SSH into smOS rig and running command:

AtiFlash -s 0 bios.rom

edit: formatting
