Ethereum update: Can someone make an email server on ethereum?
Right now there are options like Protonmail and Hushmail, but they can be infiltrated, right? Surely there is a way to make a simple enough open source email server on the ethereum or another blockchain, where all emails are encrypted with wallet public and private keys. People can pay for network costs with ether. It really just needs to be accessible with IMAP.
You would use whatever client you want to retrieve your encrypted emails with IMAP, and then decrypt them with private key for the wallet that registered the email address.
