Ethereum update: Depreciation – accounting purpose
Hi I am not a miner but I have an accounting question re: depreciation, wondering what people’s thoughts are:
Should I depreciate my mining rig using straight line method (same amount of depreciation every year), due to ” consistent output” of ethereum annually?
Or should I depreciate my mining rig using an accelerated method (more depreciation taken at the beginning) as the rewards declines over year?
