Ethereum update: [HELP] testing gpu in windows 7
Recently I’ve decided to BIOS mod my 4x RX 570 4gb gpus. Today I’ve been working on one of them and I was able to bios mod it correctly.
The problem is, I want to test them before I place on my rig (which I actually use SMOS), so I decided to download Claymore, so I can test it in my windows 7 pc, at first with amd drivers, I was able to mine, but at 15/16 mhs, after that I change to amd blockchain drivers, and now, when I run claymore, it crashes. Does anyone have any idea of how can I test the gpu before I take it to the rig?
Also, it might be useful, the monitor is connected to the gpu hdmi port, when I connect it to the motherboard, claymore doesn’t recognise the gpu. Also, should I try other mining software? Maybe you know one to recommend, as I’m pretty new in mining with windows as S.O. (I’ve been always using Linux).
Thanks in advance for any answer!
