Ethereum update: How can we call Ethereum a decentralized system when it’s mostly running on AWS?

Running a full Ethereum node these days is basically impossible for most people.
We need to come up with a way to truly decentralize the infrastructure on which Ethereum is currently running.
Replace AWS with a network of global data centers(or a part of the available capacity from currently up and running ones ) running Infura-type infrastructure. The whole model would have to be incentivized by a “pay as you go/pay per usage” system. Probably a solid decentralized governance model, proposed and approved by the community, would be needed to run the whole thing. What do you guys think?
