Ethereum update: I own ETH through Coinbase but didn’t receive anything from the hard fork
Hi all I’m a complete novice on crypto so I’m hoping someone can explain this to me. I have etherium purchased through Coinbase and I recently noticed how they have ETC for sale which was a result of etherium hard fork.
I remember reading that when bitcoin did a hard fork, if you owned bitcoin then you received the same amount of coins in the new crypto.
Is this not the case with etherium?
Was I supposed to receive ETC and didn’t?
Is this something that Coinbase just doesn’t do?
