Ethereum update: Need help from tech-savvy people in assessing an Ethereum-based project Fluence


This is the project I am talking about r/fluence.

So, I did my research on them, everything checks out, including the value proposition. They are basically Siacoin for databases, building a decentralized database. For a layman like me, it makes great sense.

But, I need help from tech people who understand this stuff – does it make sense to have a decentralized database? How does that even work?
