Ethereum update: Overclocking limits with MSI Afterburner and Wattman

Hey all,

i help a friend to use his gaming pc for mining. He has a rx470 8gb and while mining works good, we cannot set the overclocking values like we want. In MSI Afterburner, the memory clock slider stops at 2200Mhz and if we want to set “Extend official overclocking limits” on, nothing happens. After opening the settings again it is unchecked again.

Then we tried it with wattman. But again, if I try to set a value higher than 2200Mhz it jumps back automaticaly. Why is it limited and how can we get past it?
