Ethereum update: SATA Risers
Before you start typing “Don’t use SATA because it catches fire…” at least read the post. (AutoMod is exempted) If I run an undervolted RX 580 (90-150w).
The PCIE 8pin connector could provide all the power the card needs (?) and for any overdraw it would take power from PCI-E but like it’ll probably be less than 54W max for sata. My PSU only has 2x 8Pin and I need those for the GPU and a free sata power cable so I’ll be running ONE Riser off of it.
Would this work?
