Ethereum update: Some noob questions 🙂
I set up Claymore on my mid-range gaming PC just to see how it went yesterday. I plan to mine whilst browsing chrome as speeds are not affected by Claymore.
My pool is Ethermine. I have a 4GB 1050ti (standard clock) with a speed of usually about 12.5MH/S. I get around 8-10 shares per hour (sometimes a lot more, sometimes a lot less). My question is, after running for 11 hours with that hashrate and shares per hour, is it good that I have made 0.00039 ETH on ethermine.org? Or should I have made more?
Also, if somebody finds a “block” in a pool, do they get any special part of that block or does all of it get split between pool members? (sorry if that doesn’t make sense)
Thanks
