Ethereum update: System crashes after Claymore shows “POOL/SOLO version” in Windows
I narrowed the crash down to one card, which seems to be faulty unfortunately, Aorus RX570 4GB, it was previously working but got jostled around a bit in a move and now giving me problems in Win10 and SMOS. Monitoring “GPU Memory Errors” in HWiNFO64, for this particular card, it goes from 0 before I start mining, immediately jumping to 2 million+ errors when it hits the “POOL/SOLO version” line in Claymore, and then my system crashes. As mentioned I tried this card in Windows and Linux and causing crashes in both. In Windows I have done the the whole DDU / reinstall driver / patch dance numerous times and same result. I have tried numerous risers/usb cables/etc. PSU is not the problem. Tried flashing stock bios. No more warranty, list “for parts” on eBay or is there any hope for it?
