Ethereum update: Unbricking the bricked
I have some Asus strix rx470’s that I decided to bios flash. I used atiflash on the first one, saved the original bios, generated an updated one with Polaris and hey presto, extra hash rate. I did the same process with the second identical card and when I applied the updated bios, windows 10 froze. I rebooted but again, windows hung on a black screen. I managed to get the system rebooted with the card but now the card doesn’t appear in anything but atiflash as ‘polaris10’. I tried to load the standard bios but atiflash says it’s invalid. How screwed am I? Any ideas? Card is an rx470 4gb with hynix memory.
