Ethereum update: When mining ETH won’t pay for power anymore, what will you do?
I’m expecting the Constantine update to ruin mining ETH for most people with the block reward dropping from 3 ETH to 2 ETH.
What is everyone planning on doing?
I’m guessing a lot of people will switch to ETC or other GPU-mineable coin, but that will drive down the yields for all of those coins.
I’ve also seen the price of used GPUs plummet to 30% of what they were purchased for 9 months ago.
