Ripple update: Amount of XRP being locked when used vs Price

Hello everyone.

I had a quick thought on the price of XRP.

Most people in Crypto are H0lders, but how much XRP is really being locked up when everyone is using xRapid?

My thought was, that since the transaction is taking less than 5 seconds to complete, how long will the XRP actually be away from the total supply before entering back into the total supply market again?

Once XRP are again available in the total supply the price of XRP will be as it was before the transaction, and the transaction only took 5 seconds.

My conclusion is that even a 1 billion transfer of XRP only will change the market price until the transaction is over.

Am I missing something? Please elaborate.
