Ripple update: Best way to purchase XRP through Kraken?


So guys I’ve been meaning to get some XRP through kraken for a long time now but I couldn’t cause of the long ass verification periods kraken had. Finally got verified after 4-5 months of my initial request. Now my question is what’s the best way to purchase XRP through kraken? Do I wire fiat into kraken and purchase XRP or do I transfer Ethereum after purchasing it on coinbase and use that ethereum to purchase xrp? I have no idea how much I’d lose in transfers.
