Ripple update: How can I store my XRP safely without it being in an exchange wallet ? Any ideas ?


I would like to be able to do so and take my XRP off the exchange wallet but I am new to the technology and have clue how to do it or what hardware is needed or if it is even possible .
Can someone enlighten me ?
Is it safe to do so ? Is there a chance of loosing the XRPs?
