Ripple update: Instant overseas Bank to bank transfer?
Mate of mine works for JP Morgan.
Doesn’t get involved in crypto so we had a chat when I started gushing over xrp.
My stance was: well, rather than international transfers taking days & costing lots, xrp will allow instant & really cheap transfer
His response: I don’t get it. We already do instant transfers now, have done for ages. Makes no sense not to, imaging needing emergency fund for a disaster & having to wait days.. doesn’t happen. It’s all instant already.
What am I missing? What is he missing?
Can Banks already talk in real time to each other to finalize currency transfer?
