Ripple update: Question regarding Coil

First off, does coil have its own subreddit? If so, I apologize and will repost there.

So I was thinking. What is the main differences with Coil and the BRAVE browser. Well, coil is building on ILP, and can be added to any browser, and works with any website, while BRAVE works with BAT and is it’s own browser and limited to that.

Does Coil remove ads automatically, or does the websites in question have to do this manually? How does the donation system coil works with work?

Can coil’s solution also work with mobile phones to remove ads from apps (candy crush, alarm clock, instagram, facebook aso.)? This could potentially be a huge selling point for me to use it over BRAVE.

One downside I can see with coil is that you have to register with credit card information, binding you to the account, meaning your browser history cannot really be erased and easily traceable. If there was an option to add funds to your account with XRP, and have 5$ worth of XRP being deducted from your account every month, would make the process of tracing your identity a lot longer. (Personally I don’t mind, but the general community seems to think anonymity is as important as water)
