Ripple update: Question regarding price of XRP Corporate vs Retail

Sorry if posted before – I haven’t really found a solid answer yet. Hopefully someone can clear this up for me…

If FI’s and Banks buy a large batch of XRP for their use case, directly from Ripple and continue to buy directly from Ripple, then how will we see that volume/price change on our retail exchanges ?

The way I see it now is that there could possibly be two separate market prices for XRP.

1. A commercial market value for XRP for bank to bank transfer which bypasses retail exchanges and works on larger liquidity pools set out purely for corporate/enterprise use.

2. Retail exchange price of XRP for the common speculator/trader/ico

Is this possible or am I over thinking this?

Any information would be greatly appreciated!
