Ripple update: What if Amazon / eBay / other huge players happen? Question on scale.
With XRP’s current Ledger and technology, I’ve read it can process 1500 transaction a second. If other payment processing platforms start using the ledger for cross border payments, I would imagine that the addition of all of these banks and non-banks would make the ledger hit the 1500 transaction a second mark.
How is Ripple going to address that? Are they regularly updating the ledger and tech to take on the additional work-load?
I’m sorry if I’m not understanding something simple. I read through about 3 or 4 threads related to scale and couldn’t find the answer to this question.
