Ripple update: What’s wrong with XRP being a security?

Most of the member in this community already have the positions they are comfortable with or somewhere in the ballpark. If XRP is deemed a security, it simply goes onto the very mature and well established exchanges. The exchanges that have a lot more money than we do and that move trillions of dollars. That should be a Moonboy’s dreams. We might not be able to purchases more and I admit I don’t know what I don’t know about much of the financial trading sector but can someone explain to me why a security is such a bad thing? Would FIs not be able to use XRP for remittances?
