Bitcoin : Hyping Crypto is a Waste of Time
Bitcoin won’t take off until lightning nodes are so refined, and with good enough user-interface, that people don’t even have to know what lightning is, or how it works to use it. Widespread use isn’t even conceivable until at least no coding is needed to get a node running. If it’s harder to use than a credit card, then most people won’t use it. Don’t kid yourself about that.
Give the engineers time; they are doing something ridiculously complicated, and gloriously experimental. Don’t think you have to spend your life watching the crypto news, just because you have crypto in your portfolio. The biggest winners are the people who forget they had some Bitcoin somewhere, and find it again years later. They got to keep having life outside crypto, and then they get the returns anyway. Trading is overrated.
Trying to hype Bitcoin is a waste of time. When it’s good and ready, people will switch over.
