Blockchain : If you develop your own blockchain, aren’t you essentially developing your own peer-to-peer network?
I’ve seen tutorials online regarding “building your own blockchain” but none of them mention anything about the p2p architecture. Wouldn’t you also need to program the nodes, connection handlers, etc. of a p2p network to build a fully functional blockchain?
What is the Blockchain?
A block chain is a transaction database shared by all nodes participating in a system based on the Bitcoin protocol. A full copy of a currency’s block chain contains every transaction ever executed in the currency. With this information, one can find out how much value belonged to each address at any point in history.
