Ripple update: Codius Host Set-up – How do I create a file??

I’m at the step

“Finally, create a file called codiusd.service with the following contents in /etc/systemd/system:”

But I have no clue what I’m doing and just copying and pasting into the command prompt.

so…..I understand i need to put the next list of things into the file…..but how can i create the file?

I’m not sure what i need to type in to create the file.

Any help would be great.
