Ripple update: Inheritance App for XRP
As a holder of XRP with a Ledger Nano S, it dawned on me the difficulty of ensuring that my inheritance is preserved. Forget about the technical complications and learning curve my wife would have to go through, but the permissives and lack of multi key signatures, leaving it up to my three young daughters or their custodian, is daunting, even with a will and testament. A killer app for the CODIUS network is the use of smart contracts for estate planning, disbursements, and third party legal permissives for executors. Anyone with family, holding for the long term, and expecting large gains should be up at night with the prospects of not having a clear plan and a layer of independent oversight and legal verification of disbursements. For all the developers out there, I would pay money for a software solution to solve this problem of intergenerational wealth transfer, legal verification, and access while preserving security. All this without introducing a centralized authority. Thoughts? Solutions?
